With this picture we would like to draw your attention to the first residents of the Amurang home. At the end of the nineties many of them fled from Poso with sister Pauline Wanguwesio under appaling conditions. This was after a fire was set to their Poso home by muslims. In this picture you see some of the children that were escaped in their temporary accommodation prior to the building of the home. The new construction was the reason for establishing the (children of) Amurang foundation in 2004. In front with guitar Herman Seba, who studied information technology with support of the study fund and who works in Jakarta now. (soon there will be more about the foudation’s past with among other things the personal story of sister Pauline’s escape).
